Is there a story behind your screen name? How did you pick it? Does it have a special meaning? Is it watch related? Do you use it for anything other then watch forums? Let's hear your story.....

Love the Beach Boys (though they are way more than just surf songs) = hang ten

CFRB 1010 used to be my radio station I listened to a lot years ago. I hate that station now.

Add the two and get hangten10

Are you 1000 years old.....like a vampire...or a Highlander immortal? Do you wage battle with other immortals fighting to win the prize?

Did you put in 1000 hours of something? Like learning to fly a plane?

Did you ask your wife out 1000 times till she said yes?

Do you have 1000 moles covering your body?

Do you only have $1000?

Are you OCD and have to say your name 1000 times a day?

:lol:lol:lol:%:%:%

Just messing with ya....:t

Well my screen name is my real name. I was first going to think of a screen name but then I thought that since this is my first forum that I am joining so I should use my real name. There is no story to it :( I wish there was but there is only one reason that its harder for someone to trust when you are wearing a mask.

I regret mine and wish I could change it. It seemed like a good idea on megadoses of hydrocodone while recovering from surgery due to an auto accident.

Ironically, had I not been stuck at home with lower inhibitions, I may never have tried the forum thing......

Deep Purple's Machine Head was one of the first albums I listened to as a teenager, on vinyl no less, when CDs were just starting to hit their stride. But we still had mix tapes!

Me and my friends were huge Deep Purple nuts though they did not come to NZ between 1985 and 2004, so we missed them in our formative years. Our friend Howie was working in Japan in 1993 and swa them when Joe Satriani filled in after Blackmore left the second and final time.

Seen Deep Purple twice, in 2004 and 2007. First date was one of the happiest days of my life- would have been THE highlight of the year, had not my son been born later that year. Met the whole band and got autographs as Auckland was their last stop.

Machine Head remains one of my desert island discs- if I could only take five, it would be one of them!

Mine is really no mystery...My hobbies are my wife and kids, and watches in that order...My way of life is baseball, I am an addict! I watch a game a day and try to catch the bottom of the ninth every chance I get!
I am Bottom of the Ninth on most Forums.

"Baseball? It's just a game-as simple as a ball and bat. Yet, as complex as the American spirit it symbolizes. It's a sport, business- and sometimes even religion."

I live in a small town in Oklahoma that has a civilian group that volunteers with the local police department. We patrol and help the officers by doing tasks that release them to get back to taking police calls. Some of the things we do are traffic control at accident scenes, crime scene security and logging, transporting prisoners, waiting on tow trucks for vehicles that get towed, etc. We are each assigned a number for identification, similar to the officer's badge numbers. My number is V152 (volunteer)or in radio lingo victor152.
