Is there a story behind your screen name? How did you pick it? Does it have a special meaning? Is it watch related? Do you use it for anything other then watch forums? Let's hear your story.....

Many moons ago I owned a site and forum called TV and Dinner - it was a site about .....(wait for it).... TV shows (old and new) and .... dinner, lol

My screen name came from there and I have used it on hundreds of forums, blogs and other sites (of all topics) for years. I have a few other regular names I use, but none as much as TVDinner.

well, mine can be interpreted in a number of ways.

could be a reference to an activity i once engaged in (which indirectly is time related)

or

it could be a reference to the engine in my GTI- four cylinder 20 valve 1.8T

or

it could be the distance to "The Triangle" in Fenway Park

Arnie11 is my only screen name. I use it on all'a the forums I'm a member of. Nothin fancy. Just my name and the number I wore through all'a the years that I played ball as it was my favorite player's number when I was growing up in the fifties/sixties. Even got George Fox to save # 11 for me on the WF's Edition of the auto pilot. :b

Nice one Spaceview!

My name is two fold, the obvious one: watches and time, and the fact that we are all traveling through it; and also, I have this name to honor my favorite character in my favorite TV show, Dr. Who. Not too complicated, and this is the only site I use it.

WATCHURSELF = of budhist origin

meaning to keep an eye on your EGO which is kinda the point to
budhism -is to keep your EGO in check and to turn your observation to
yourself rather than to others

i use it exclusively as my USER ID in every forum I'm a member of
and it sorta fits the watch forums also -funny coincidence

Ok - this one is weird. Back in the day my handle on most everything was "Swampus97". Thats what happens when you partake in a certain type of cigarette late at night and watch a show on Discovery channel about future evolution of animals. (A Swampus is supposed to be an evolved octopus that goes on land and swings through trees like a monkey)
Anyways - I wanted to change it and the day I decided to I got shingles. (That sucked big time) I thought of the name MikeyShingles - I thought it had a cool kind of Gangster nickname vibe to it - kinda like Paulie Walnuts.
I still go by the old one on some forums cause I'm too lazy to change it. But new ones - always the new name.

Torchwood is an excellent show too! I don't watch it avidly, but if its coming on, I will tune to it.

To be honest, I am very addicted to BBC America, though I am sick of Gordon Ramsey! (Can you not be sick of him if you like BBC America?)

Sorry, not laughing at your bout with the shingles, but that's funny as hell on how you got the name. And it does sound mafioso

Jeep99dad
Because I own and drive a 99 Jeep TJ and am know as the dad with the cool car all kids want to ride in during the summer with the top down! My kids friends' dads drive nice expensive cars but they all think I have the cool car :) I won't contradict them :) so I'm the Jeep dad around here. When we go places with friends who have kids or with kids' friends, all
Kids argue about who will get to ride with me :)

I don't lnow if it was a whisper, but it was "i love ..." from his projection.

What did Rose want Queen Vic to say? (softball)

Sorry, running off topic, i will stop.
