Has anyone had time to catch Illinois based Sangaman Watch Company's
new Mother Road Collection?

This collection looks to pay tribute to Route 66 with an armada of models.
With everything from black, and white dials, to navy blue, brown, and even
tie dye. Then just a few of the many other details include 44mm stainless
steel, rose gold, and brushed bronze cases, 50m WR, AR coated domed
sapphire crystal, leather rally straps, Seiko NH35A automatic behind cool
Route 66 sign case-back. Not to mention metal cards, Route 66 key chain,
and Mother Road patch too.

Some pictures for you...

A look at their first, and second collections in the Lincoln's River, and Omaha Beach too...

Sangamon with a lot more everyone...

This watch dial brings back a few good memories. ET mags to be exact. But watches like this are to one dimensional to me. They say car nut and that's all. Once again, it's the NH 35. They claim a 12mm case thickness. Not sure how they pulled that off. But even at the $289 early bird price point. Too much for a one trick pony that I would wear only to car shows. 30 years ago, I would've been first in line. But those times have passed me by. I think they passed this watch by too.

Oh man, had thought these were neat actually Forza ! 😄

Totally understand where you are coming from with the time these
watches remind you of. But at the same time the watches look to
pay tribute to Route 66, which is really cool ! 😎 The style is very
different too, and not something you will see on every other watch.
Or maybe at all come to think of it.

However, would be nice to see a different movement, or even a
lower price tag. 😀(y)

THX so so much for your thoughts as always sir. Really appreciate it !!!
