Hi all,

my rlx oysterquartz arrived! I was on the outlook for designs similar to IWC Ingenieur, or PP nautilus.....but finally I grabbed an "affordable" one, which is actually a great watch, reasonably prices for a rolex.

Thanks 2 all of you! Certainly, an automatic would be preferable, but the classy kind of "Bauhaus" design and the awareness that within this quartz mvt 20 patents are comprised (it is widely regarded as the most "overengineered" watch movement, and is considered "semimechanical") I can live with it....the automatic version was built only during a very short period and easily reaches prices in the 6k EURO area....

@toecutter : It somehow parallels some design elements of your swiss legend :)

Cheers

Congrats on your new OysterQuartz! :c

This is my favorite Rolex model. I've owned a few. I wish they would have never stopped making them. My pair were the most accurate watches I've owned to date.

I hope you have years of enjoyment from your! :)
