Well i have to say Rolex really stepped their game up with this watch...The case really wears much much bigger then what it is...Very deep and actually has weight to it...The only thing I didn't like was the bracelet...It tappers off too much and the result of the makes the watch very top heavy...I think Rolex will fix this...They really should...Also the wording inside the dial going around the bezel that says Original gas escape valve is not that noticeable in person for some reason...Great watch...great size...great weight but they need to do some work on the bracelet...
This one? Isn't 43mm way to small for you. You normally wear way bigger watches then that don't you?

I'll take a look this weekend. Going to see one of my friends at his store. They carry all of these also.

Tough call. You know my opinion. Between the Z and the P, my choice was P by a mile.

But now between R and P it is a little harder for me.

How large is the R. I can not find any size info on any of the sites.

I know its a hard call James....43.5mm on the rolie and the panny is 44mm...not much difference..they both wear much bigger James...The rollie is 17.5mm deep very close to the breitling SA and has plenty of weight...the watch is awesome...the panny is awesome also...it all comes down to what is going to be worth more in the future with me...and I think the rolie will have more value...just cant believe the wifey is telling me to get the rolie...lol..:b
ok i might get yelled at for saying this, but in my opinion there is almost no question that the R will have more future retained value. You know I LOVE some of the P models, BUT I do feel that P is somewhat of a fad brand. It is unquestionably the trendy luxury brand of the past few years with big exposure in movies and popular shows like Entourage. They are absolutely a legit "luxury" brand, but I am not sure about the long long term retained value, especially when compared directly to the R brand which has decades of proven value that goes up in most cases.

Do you agree?

I looked at this watch today. Full gloved service from the AD who was showing me the watch. I tried it on and looked it over from all angles. Here are my thoughts.

As mentioned by others this watch DOES wear larger then the size advertised - feels like a 46mm watch. The 15mm thick seems larger also. The watch case, dial, and overall styling OF THE CASE as a whole is STUNNING. Screams of high class and expensive Swiss watch, which it is.

BUT I don't care if this watch cost $10,000 (like it currently does) OR $10 or 10 CENTS - the bracelet completely ruins this watch for me. I have never seen any bracelet on any watch taper down like this one does. It drops to 16mm at the clasp and feels even smaller when you have it on. The bracelet almost feels like the bracelet that would be on a woman's watch.
