Rolex Cosmograph Daytona - technical re winding

3110 Views 13 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Jas
I have bought a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona a week ago :)

I understand the auto-wind mechanism is bi-directional, so I will use that mode on a watch winder.

My questions :)

1/ How many turns/revolutions are needed to fill its power reserve 100% from empty?

2/ How many turns/revolutions are recommended daily to keep it running, if not worn?

I do plan to wear the watch daily, but there are times when I won't e.g. when I am home over the xmas and new year period.

This one says left or right, 800 turns. If it's bi-directional, it doesn't matter which way you turn it, and you can't over wind it.
