I have bought a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona a week ago

I understand the auto-wind mechanism is bi-directional, so I will use that mode on a watch winder.

My questions

1/ How many turns/revolutions are needed to fill its power reserve 100% from empty?

2/ How many turns/revolutions are recommended daily to keep it running, if not worn?

I do plan to wear the watch daily, but there are times when I won't e.g. when I am home over the xmas and new year period.

I was really surprised to read that, so spent some time reading about the movement on Rolex's site.

I do 32 full turns for winding and I remember that as guideline in general but it may differe for your model.

I don't wind it when I don't wear it.

Like I said, the info was per Orbita. I have no idea how old it is.
I'm not a Rolex guy, I looked up the winding info only and didn't research the movement.

Maybe with a little more "Googling" you can find the info which you seek

This one says left or right, 800 turns. If it's bi-directional, it doesn't matter which way you turn it, and you can't over wind it.
