Everyone has some regrets in their lives. If you feel comfortable posting about them, what are yours?
For me one is never finishing my novel or writing. Many many years ago I was a journalism major and was very good at it. I could have easily gotten a job in journalism right out of college, but chose to go a different way. I am not saying I did poorly because that is not true at all. I did very well both professionally and financially. But I do regularly wish I would have done something with the writing.
Related to that I have a novel I have been working on for close to 20 years. I have almost 70 - 100 pages done and every year I get motivated to look at it again, and a few more words are added, but nothing substantial. It bothers me, sometimes daily.
I have a few business regrets, but they mainly involved decisions I made that many years later and now in hindsight I should have done other things. But there was no possible way to know that then.
What about you.
