First off - welcome to the forum liquid. We look forward to reading your posts. On your question above the Russian Diver 4157 is a massive watch to start off with. The caseis 52mm and then add in the large crown. It is a beautiful watch, but as mentioned can be very large.

What size is your wrist? There are other large Invicta models that you might like that are still big and heavy, but a few less mm wide (total) so you will not have the rubbing you are experiencing currently.

If you check the Invicta section on ShopNBC you can look at an incredible amount of different models at great pricing and deals. Below is a picture of the model you have.

Liquid, i have advise but you not gonna like it. you wearing with the big boys now. just deal with it cuz it's worth the look on your wrist...
haha. just kidding. there ARE other styles you can try. the Corduba that SHOPNBC had a GERAT deal on tnght, the I-Force, the Excursion and SANS are big as well. some dont like the crown on the diver.
perhaps try and wear it not so close to your hand and see if you like it better. if not thennouse it sitting in the box. sell it and get something else...you wont have a problem unloading it.

I wonder if this is perhaps why they created the lefty styles... surely they weren't thinking solely of left handed individuals...South paws always take one for the team...
It makes sense too, having the giant crown cap in the opposing position..
The main complaint i've heard about the cap related to it digging into the back of the wearers hand and restricting movement by raising the hand at the wrist.
I've seen other brands produce the oversized canteen style casings in the "lefty" position

Maybe this is old news to everyone else hahaha...just a spur of the moment observation :q

Nice Watch. I have only one Russian Diver . I have gotten used to the crown in my skin. Does not leave a mark on me but when I started wearing it, it was annoying.

Either you have to switch it to the other hand or grin and bear it. I wear watcvhes on both wrists. No problems here. Just a suggestion.

i am the recient recipeint of a russian diver, and i was always concerned about the size of the canteen and it digging into the back of my hand.

it has never been an issue for me. i barely even know its there, thoughi have one on a comfortable leather strap.

maybe you are wearing the watch too tight, or too loose,
or maybe its just not for you.

dont settle for something you dont like, if you dont wear it because it aggrivates you, put it up for trade or sale......

I totally agree with you. Noone should get a watch just because it looks nice or really sharp. You get what you want to wear it and enjoy it.
