I saw the news about this Raven KickStarter project posted on another forum.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stevral/raven-defender?ref=nav_search

Raven Defender
Raven Defender is a multi-purpose expedition time piece that combines a classic aviation design with scuba diving specs in a 42mm case. For this project I am partnering with Kickstarter in hopes that we can grow our customer base and increase our production numbers. This exceptional new watch design at the price point we are offering is one way that we hope to reach our goal.

Brushed stainless, blasted stainless, bronze and DLC versions with 3 different dial colors.

The two Frankenstein bolts are "interesting", I don't know if I like them or not. They are way big and look like they would dig annoyingly into the hand, but visually interesting.

Oh man Stewie, those are awesome looking ! :smileyface_hand_cla Kind of takes the dual crown, compressor style look to a whole new level. The size, and thickness of the case, along with design, and depth of the dials is extraordinary !!! Liking how they have so many different choices, or variations also. Great find Stewie ! Thanks very very much !

Raven watches are top notch!

I've never had an inner bezel before. I do like the compressor look. I've also had my eye out for a DLC so I'm thinking about giving this one a try.

Beautiful indeed, but for some reason it reminds me of Minuteman's upcoming new design.

the reason i am not a fan of the inner bezel elapsed time complication...is...it is harder to use and THE DIVER BEZEL IS MY FAVE COMPLICATION...also...1 more crown to strip -repair-remember to close-

i know this is not your first rodeo...STEWIE...good hunting...

this tool porn i admire from afar and in fantasy tool land-

Scotty, thanks for input. This would certainly be a deviation from my norm.

I figure it's one of those styles I'll never know if I really like or not until I try it.

We can't like or have them all can we.

Thinking the dlc black dial or steel blasted black dial is the way to go on this one. Probably going to pass on this one even though it does look like a nice watch and a good deal. Look foward to seeing pics for those that take the plunge.
