I just wanted to let everyone know about the great customer service I received from Amazon.

In case you weren't aware I had ordered an Invicta Corduba Diverlock watch from Amazon before the first of the year. When it finally arrived I found out that they had sent the wrong watch (a $32 Nike). I contacted their customer service (less than 1 minute on hold) and explained the problem. The nice person on the other end apologized and after getting some information from me said that everything would be taken care of.

Well, before I even got off the phone there was a UPS return label in my EMail and when I checked my Amazon account the replacement watch was already due to be shipped out. No charge.

I received the wrong watch on 1/06/10 and had the correct watch by 1/08/10

For as big as Amazon is I'd say that was pretty darn good customer service!!

I guess that's why they are a world wide success.

I'm glad it worked out so well for you. I've been very happy with Amazon and even their third party sellers do a good job. I ordered two replacement batteries for my camera from and Amazon third party seller and one arrived DOA. One e-mail and they sent me out two new ones and didn't even want the dead one back.

Great update TC, we need to hear the good as well as the bad. I agree that Amazon's service is very good, every encounter with them has always been positive for me.

Funny story, I was in my parking garage to my building when a fella asked if I could let him in the secured access door, he had forgotten his key card...it was Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. I let him in considering who he was....he he.
