This is my first attempt in making a pork pie. (The next one will be a 'hand raised' one). I used a special mould with an inset base to push it out after it has been baked. The next one will be a 'hand raised' pie, without using a mould. Recipe from Youtube with hot water crust. It is cooling now.

this culinary masterpiece right?! ..I mean it looks like pure perfection from
this side of things, and I swear I can almost smell what it must smell like
in your kitchen as well as home today. 🥧It literally is making me hungry
and I already ate about an hour ago. 😄It looks like something you would
see on the cover of a cook book, or definitely the focus of a video like you
are talking about.

You know what I love about pies too?! ..Is that they are so good that it's
tough to figure what is the best part about them right?! ..The look, the

It is delicious! I mixed small cubes of bacon together with the minced pork. The only draw back is the high, very high, caloric count . The crust is made with butter and lard. I'll have a slice for lunch tomorrow with some chutney. I really like this new to me pastime. It is very relaxing and the result is a reward!

I can see how it is such a rewarding as well as relaxing thing
to do Frans ! It’s a beautiful thing being able to cook, and bake like
this for both yourself as well as others. And really the high caloric
count is fine with me because bacon, as well as any kind of pie like
this is worth it. 😄

Boy oh boy Frans, those came out amazing too to tell the truth ! 😀😀
They look like two of the most ultimate pot pies ever created from
here, and once again you, or we can almost smell them from here. 😋
I am wondering just how great it must be like in your home today

I bet. I mean the way it looks so dark golden brown takes your, or
our breath away. And the shapes are perfect !!

Honestly, one has to wonder what is better sir, the look, or the
