If the leather is "the right stuff"...................... both work for me.

these work best on bracelet.Really narrow between the lugs. For leather though,a di-modell strap like this one.this has a overlapping end on it making it wider.

Hi George, leave it on the bracelet. It looks great! ....Bob

I voted bracelet...Could go well on leather but would have to actually see it with the leather.

The leather would have to be just right though to work with a watch like that though.

I'd say, either would be fine.

Since being in the realm of the NBZ... (for a while):)

I'm going to be concentrating ona few strap mods, instead of new watch purchases... Though they won't be on anything like your Seiko..

I've got a few Russian Divers Quinotaurs as well as Off-Shores, that will be undergoing the switch.

As yourself, George.. I'll be posting these mods during the next few weeks/months.. (time permiting)

Keep us posted with all of the modifications that you decide to go with!

Thanks Braddah!

If you're a strap guy, why not try a strap on it? I think it'll look fine. I think the bracelet is nice too, so either way you should be good.

I've got an Orange Monster on a leather strap for the winter, maybe it could help you judge what a strap might look like on your new Seiko:

Yes, I had posted these pics on a couple of other forums. The strap was an inexpensive 22mm handmade strap by a WUS forum member. I think it would be easy to notch a 22mm leather strap to fit your watch (I assume it's also 20mm) if you like the look.

I thought the Watch was 22mm (mine) but i'll have to check when i get home

i suck at notching -ruined a couple of straps that way!!

I'm all about the bracelet but thats just me...I'm sure the strap will look good also..
