Hi James, that is a good looking Chase Durer. I like it too but there are alot of numbers around that bezel that gives it a techinical kind of look. ....Bob

Good to know. They need to take it off the site then. Was thinking about calling them. I guess I would have found out. Can't get anything past you bud!

lol. I yelled at them 2 days ago on the phone about still having it listed online. When you call or talk to an online agent they try to bait and switch you to another CD watch or another watch all together. They then tell you that they spoke to M. Chase herself and they will be getting it in soon, but...they never do, lol

James, you know I have this watch and it really is a great piece. As you all know I'm selling off watches to get my Breitling and this is one that I WON'T be selling because it's that nice!

I have yet to own a Chase-Durer watch! This one you featured in the OP is very nice looking and a great case size.

James, what is the specific appeal of this watch for you?

Thanks. :)

It is a combination of things.

1) I love the style of the watch when you take your first glance at it. You see a lot going on, but in clearly defined areas

2) Of course the size is in my like zone

3) I really love the 3 smaller dial circles in the middle that stand out against the black dial behind them.

4) Even with the multiple features I find this watch easy to read and like the way the hands have been designed very much.

Finally, every single CD watch I have seen, even if it is one I did not like the look or style of, was impressively made. I looked hard at a few of them at the PA GGT and I could find very few flaws, even in the models that I might not have liked.

And everytime sheraortho posts pictures of his it makes the watch even more appealing to me. Maybe he will post his pics again in this thread but the watch really has a unique look that appeals to me.

:)

I'm with you on this assessment. I love the 2 that I own and this watch is smoking as well and has to be as well built as the ones I own so this would be a no brainer imo if it was available somewhere at a reasonable price.

I definately love my CD's they are very well made watches. Marianne has a very good company there, and I would definately buy another CD when given the opportunity.
