Greetings All! Dennis's (DenFromNM) gift watch arrived safely on Thursday (thanks again, Dennis!).My first impression was that this is is a handsome sporty watch that has visual interest with its retrograde function, power reserve,exposed escapement, and transparent case back. The fit on my wrist is good and I like the sturdy alligator style leather strap. I promptly woundthe watch and studied the escapement and the rotor on the back. The rotor/self-winding mechanismis actually fairly loud butthe sound is not objectionableat all to me.The crown has the normal 2 positions for winding and settingthe time. There is asmall flush button at the 8 o'clock position to set the date.One other nicedetail is that there is a perlage treatment to the rotor, bridge, andpossibly a couple other parts visible from the back.Too early to comment ontime-keeping accuracy. I am horrible at keeping my watches wound sodon't ask me for the time on Mondays! Enjoy the photos...
