I just saw the Orient Saturation Divers on Sale at LongIsland Watches for 999.00.

It's quite possibly be the worst diver to buy brand new, in that price range. I'd love a black dial one dial but they typically sell for $600-675 preowned so I will go that route when the time comes.

I have owned 3 Sat Divers and love them.

But I will agree that you can typically get them in great shape on the secondary market if you are willing to look.

$999 is not a bad price for new, but might be able to get for less if patient in your search on Watch Recon and other places.

If you are going new, $999 is a good price, but I've seen them in great condition on WatchRecon often for around $750.

Fantastic watch either way, and hits way above its weight class.

I paid $999 for my white dial new. At the time it was a great price new or used but prices have dropped. No matter mine is a keeper and feel like it was worth the $1k I paid for it. I would consider adding a second for the right price.

I've had my (old style) one for a few years now. Great solid watch.

If you're a flipper, don't buy new there are usually some used ones on 'recon so I'd check around there first.

Enjoy it when you get it! :)
