Man, you don't have to be totally 'buggy' to collect watches, ...
...
... but, IMHO, FWIW - it sure does help! ...

For your consideration & enlightenment, ...
...
... when I received my new Debaufre CSAR in stainless w/green lumi, ...
... I noticed a teensy, tiny, remnant of a brush bristle ...
...
... 'firmly ensconced' in the Luminova on the hour hand! ...
...

[/align]_______________________________________

Now, again, although it WAS a 'visible-to-the-naked-eye blemish', ...
... I DID have to use an eye loupe to verify that it was, indeed, a bristle! ...
... and, after some neurotically-OCD reflection and 110%-AR hand-wringing, ...
...
... I decided to send the watch back to Debaufre - for an upgrade to the CSAR SS w/BLU-WHITE Lumi ... !

As I told them, besides the blemish, the green lumi was bright AND persistent on the dial markers, ...
... but, curiously, it was dim on the hands! -
, so I asked to be upgraded (for $40 more!) ...
...
... to the CSAR SS with, again, the more-intense Blu-White Lumi, ...
...
... and they graciously agreed to do JUST that! ...

FWIW, I think this is one terrifically good-looking timepiece ...
...
... which, IMHO, is a "Modern Update" to some vintage "Aviator" Classics ...
...
... that. over the years, I've purchased from Debaufre AND Steinhart, ...
... like my Nav B-Uhr Ltd. Ed. Auto ...

I like the blue dial/lume much better than the green. I think you made a wise decision to send the green (blemished) back and snag this one in it's place!

It's a terrific looking watch and the blue dial is just so great looking!

Congrats on your "swap". :)
