Recently I picked this 7006-8030 The seller bragged about the original bracelet,
It had a SQ clasp on the bracelet along with a aftermarket extender

It was not a deal stopper but it did allow me to get him down on his price
So now I'm on the hunt to find some pieces to fix the bracelet
I found the proper size clasp and I replaced the SQ clasp. Now the hunt is on for some links for this one. They are H Link no taper
approx. 16mm wide. As you can see there is only 5 links, I'm thinking I need 5 more to make this a complete bracelet.
So if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. I have the trading stuff bracelets straps some watches.
Shoot me a PM if you can help me out.

Hello Catkicker, to each his own, the metal band is functional and I'll admit it's a unique design, but I agree with arogle1stus, I'm not overly blown away by its looks either. You've probably already tried but my guess is you'll have to get those links from Seiko. If you can't get those links, then my two cents says a mesh strap would make your watch pop, which by the way is a pretty cool looking watch. The prices of a mesh strap varies from under $10 at eBay to a lot more.

Here are a few metal band options and good luck.

I totally get trying to get an all original bracelet for it, even if Seiko was not known for having very good bracelets at the time.

I doubt I have any, but I'll dig through my parts bin. It's possible I have links from another Seiko that will match up to that bracelet. If I do, you can have them.

+1. has to be original.

I had a look on ebay ('Seiko strap')... many Seiko links look very similar. I doubt the ones on the OP's watch are unique that that watch.
just need a few vital dimensions & pics of link pins & the bar bit on the links.

catkicker:
Gotta reprise what toptishkin an henry said.
The thot of a mesh strap completely eluded me.
No of the opinion a mesh would look super on it.
Leather in 2nd place.
It's your nice watch. I know you'll make a good
decision.
