Have you guys ever heard of Octon watches? Or seen their watches?

They are based in Sweden, and have three versions of their watch that
come in many variations. Then you can even customize a watch if you
like. With details like 40mm stainless steel cases, 300m WR, domed
sapphire crystals, a Neptune Blue, and Aurora Green dial, and bezel,
a black, and Aurora Green dial, and bezel, or Meteor Gray, and Solar
Yellow dial, and bezel, luminous hands, and markers, choice of Seiko
NH35a, Miyota 9015, or ETA 2824-2, and stainless steel bracelet, and
armada of strap options also.

A few of the versions...

Saw these over at The Timebum, and then visited Octon's site everybody...

Ripping off a famous brands handset is not a good way to set your brand apart from the other. Love the bright colors, case design and movement selections. But these watch designers/engineers need to start breaking out on their own and design some new hands and markers to set themselves apart rather than take the easy way out...

Was in Stockholm earlier this month and saw these watches advertised.
The easy way out is the way to an easier buck and that's all that appears to count nowadays.

Nice looking watch nevertheless with a decent movement - also nice to see no unnecessary crown guard. Nice bracelet option too.

Thanks again Tom

nice to see drilled lugs.

and the prices...very refreshing to see a brand NOT gouging for a high beat movement...
assuming the retail price doesnt double over the preorder price.

$400 for a bracelet and ETA 2824 movement is pretty good.

other than that...its just ANOTHER generic diver amidst the ocean of similar-identical offerings.

Yup, am on the same page as all of you guys with the originality thing
with these. :thumb: Just saw them though, and wanted to make sure, and
post about the news of them. :) I know that they have a Tudor-like
personality, but thought the non-Tudor-like pricing. Along with different
colors, accents, and combinations were a little different.

Love hearing what you guys think, and hearing your honesty. It's
fantastic really. All the thanks actually goes to YOU guys !!!
