After a week with my Explorer I. I feel as if this is a no brainer. However, what will be interesting is that the two pieces have completely different personalities. While the Explorer was one of their early offerings and built like a tank. The SeaStar seems more refined and benefits by what they have learned about manufacturing over the last 7 years.
I chose the model that I loved the moment I saw it. It has everything that I want in a Diver watch and more. I chose the double domed crystal over the flat. I have several sandblasted pieces and love them all. I don't expect this one will be any different. Some specs and pics. 馃榿

Now that's one gorgeous diver!!! What's the second crown for? Is it reasonably priced?

I'm usually on an island on this but... I'd love to see that watch on the rubber.

When I'm in a public place like a grocery store and I notice the watches people are wearing, I usually react in one of two ways - when they're on bracelets I usually don't try to get a closer look. I just figure it's some designer brand or sub knock-off or worse. But when a guy has a black rubber strap and meaty looking stainless steel watch it gets my attention.

But... that's why I'm on WF.

Am with Rob on the gorgeous diver thing, and Eric on the being
cool on that rubber strap there, but also bracelet ! 馃槂馃槃 Really
is the kind of watch that grabs you no matter how you slice it
honestly. 馃槈 (y) Blending the feel of a vintage treasure, with a
modern masterpiece !

It鈥檚 going to be cool Forza ! 馃槑 BIG congrats ahead of time here !!!

P.S. Rob, I think the crown at 4 o鈥檆lock is a manual helium escape,
and the price is $349 if I鈥檓 not mistaken. 馃檪

Thanks guys,
Rob, Tom is correct on both of his observations.
Eric, the watch comes with a rubber strap. I'm sure I will be rotating it between the two.
