Did you guys have time to see Oak & Oscar's new Olmstead 38 yet?

It has a 38mm stainless steel case, 100m WR, a multi-layer double
domed AR coated sapphire crystal, navy, white, or gray sandwich
dials with a matching date wheels, luminous hands, and markers,
a leather strap, and stainless steel bracelet, and then 21 jewel ETA
2892-A2 automatic movement also.

Some pictures for you...

Over $1K for that lackluster snoozer with a low end 2824??? NO!

I really like this watch. Kind of reminds me of my Glycine Combat 7. But I have to agree with Chaz here. My Combat is Swiss Made with an ETA 2824-2 and a 42mm case that I bought brand new for $300.
The Olmstead 38 is a nice piece, really like that gray dial. But there just isn't enough there to justify the kind of coin they're asking.

As usual I'm with you guys too on the price ! :thumb: It seems like we are
always talking about it. But it really supplys a very wet blanket to so
many nice watches we see unfortunately. You really can't count all of
the great watches we see that tick all the boxes, but then go haywire
at the end price wise.

It's really the only thing most times that is actually wrong with any
watch out there imho. ..The design will be awesome, and even the
movement, and everything in between. But it's that price at the end
of the day that throws everything for a loop. :(

For fun am just going to imagine this one is somewhere around the
price of that Combat 7 Forza, and Chaz !! :) :)
