We make the little **** better. The stuff you have that isn't noticed first, but can't be ignored. We pay attention to it. We argue about it. We work day and night to make the little **** as good as it can be, so when you wear it, you feel like you've got a leg up on the rest of the world. We believe that you deserve a lot of respect. When you choose to wear a watch, or select a wallet to hold your hard earned cash, or want to put the final touch on your steez, you deserve to have something that reflects your entire package. You may not know how to say it, but you've got something to say. Dammit brothers and sisters, you can't slap on an off-the-shelf piece and consider yourself you. Can you? That's why we started Nixon and that's why, 8 years later, we're still here.

Nestled comfortably out of the way up against the pacific ocean in southern California, and tucked neatly next to the best surf in Europe, you'll find Nixon people doing what we do. What started as a frustration at a lack of quality watches that simultaneously do the talking for you and deliver what you need in various high stress work and play environments has grown into a network of athletes, rock stars, retailers, and dedicated loyalists that bring Nixon products to market.

Some people look at professional skateboarders, surfers, and snowboarders and mistakenly think they know what they're looking at. Stereotyping can get you in trouble. Their skills are ridiculous, yes, but their experiences reach far beyond that handrail on the corner. Their actions are focused on perfecting their sports, but their interests and style are anything but focused. Their perspectives are unique, yes, but their needs are universal. It is our job to reconcile the former with the latter. Nixon hand picks those riders that are leaders in their sports and works with this elite group to make sure their perspectives contribute to a single unified expression: team designed, custom built.

I own the Nixon Rover pictured above and it's an awesome timepiece. 45mm Japanese quartz day/date window with push button lum light. These things are built like tanks.

I'm on the fence about this brand. I guess I would need to see one up close and really examine it. Not ready to jump in on one yet.....notice I said yet.

Marc,

My brother was an authorized dealer for Nixon watches and I have to say these things are built very well. IMHO you really do get a fine quality timepiece. The ones featured above are totally awesome. They also make an all ceramic with a Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement in the42-20 series.

I can buy a few seikos and citizens for $2000
Yes you can my friend. I personally can't afford the all ceramic automatic either. It is just a cool looking watch IMHO. I have actually tried this particular model on and it's something else. These are true scratch resistant Swiss Made watches. Nixon has them built by the Swiss. :bAlso keep in mind that is the retail price. I've seen these for under $900.

As you already know, one of these will be mine this year. Lol
I look forward to your review on the 51-30 when you pull the trigger. I've thought about picking up another Nixon as well. I've had my Rover for 2 years and that thing can take a lickin and keep on tickin.
