Well I have developed a soft spot for Seikos after buying a couple of divers I thought I'd buy a third.

I inherited a Seiko 5 last year which is very sentimental but a little too gold for me. So I opted for this which is smart and with a hint of gold!

Still love a display back, such a simple looking watch yet the back shows how cool a mechanical watch is!

Thanks guys and you're right, a Seiko is exactly that, solid!

This one is a fair bit lighter than my others but was only £50 which is a bargain.

Solid, reliable and good looking.

A lot of these Seiko 5's rival $1K watches, looks wise.

It certainly looks up there with the best of them. This one is very subtle and I think classy looking. Too smart for me really but I like the contrast haha

This one is an SNXG53K1.

I'm glad there are makers like Seiko out there that consumers can have confidence in. Their watches are worth the money, no matter what end of the price spectrum you're shopping in.

Your 5 looks great!!!!

Thanks for sharing the pic!

I agree, Seiko have made quality time pieces with that typical Japanese methodology whereby it's inexpensive but reliably made.
