Did anyone catch these Seiko 5 Sports x Peanuts watches?

First, the Surfboard Snoopy has the midsized SKX 38mm case,
diver’s bezel and black aluminum insert, the cool white dial with
Snoopy and his surfboard, plus neat nato and calibre 4R36 too.

Then the Parachute Snoopy will have a 36.4mm midsized Field Watch
case, white dial with Snoopy having fun with his parachute, calibre 4R36,
and leather strap.

Nice find Sir AtomicTom. Was Snoopy not exclusively licensed to Omega?

Thank YOU Sir Lawyer Aidross for the kind comment, along with
chiming in and sharing your thoughts !!! :)

Honestly, you ask a fantastic question, because we all have seen
Snoopy on Omega Watches. But I guess it actually isn’t exclusive.
Because it seems we are seeing Snoopy more and more. 😲

Holy cow, and it really isn’t even out right Hector?! 😲
Thanks a lot for the news, as well as for chiming in !!!

It would be great if watches like this were not limited, but
rather just made for the entire year. That way they would
be made for the entire year and celebrate the anniversary.
Then the people who would like one would maybe be able
to find one. 😉 Or better yet, don’t even make them limited
editions. (y)(y)

Well, I went on the Seiko Europe website and it listed the watches as "not available", which means it isn't out yet, or already sold out... Not quite sure, but not impossible to be sold out in two days ?

Understood sir, ;) they probably just haven’rpt been made available
yet, but it would be terrific if they weren’t limited. (y):) ..I just think
it would be nice for the fans, and would actually be a better way to
celebrate at the end of the day.

THX again for the extra cool insight !!!

Agreed that it would be great if they were not limited, might generate more in sales too :)

Exactly Hector, plus it would also just be a nice thing for Seiko or
any brand to do for their fans. ;) :D There are a ton of people
who like The Peanuts and Snoopy, as well as these watches. So
giving as many fans as possible a chance to pick one up seems
like a great idea really. (y)

Well the thing I like about Peanuts watches you know they are Peanut watches because there is obviously a peanuts character on the dial. What I have a problem is I grew up as a kid being a big Roberto Clemente fan my favorite baseball player of all time. I had a signed Roberto Clemente signed Louisville slugger I had a Rawlings signed Clementa baseball mitt, and had many Roberto Clemente baseball cards. Oris came out with a watch paying tribute to Roberto Clemente, I would have purchased it for nostalgic reasons but there is no Roberto Clemente on the dial, I could wear this watch and no one would ever know that it was designed to honor Roberto Clemente unless I told them. It is a nice looking watch and I would be glad to wear it but I would have liked to see something on the dial paying tribute to Clemente, I know it has his image on the back but still.

You are so right about that Oris above Bob. ;)

I remmber that one like it was yesterday, but you are right on, there is no mention
of him, or picture, or even his number right?! ..It's a beautiful watch, but it should
have something about him on the dial, and not just the case-back. And you know,
usually Oris does things right, but that one actually could have been done in a
better way.

Thank you so much for joining in on the conversation as always !!!
