Did anyone have time to see Marathon's Medium Diver's quartz with White
Dial yet?

The watch is already getting nicknames like Arctic MSAR, and Ghostbuster
from A Blog To Watch. It looks to be the company's first white dial model.

With just a few of the many other details looking to include a 36mm stainless
steel case, 300 meter water resistance, an AR coated sapphire crystal, uni-
directional rotating diver's bezel, white dial with tritium tubes, and black hands,
and numbers, stainless steel bracelet, or rubber strap, and ETA F06.111 quartz
movement also.

Have a few pictures right here...

Nice, but not what I want from Marathon, I want a field/dive watch. This dial is not that - too bright.

You make a great point Rob, and can see what you are saying. :thumb: Seems like
they just wanted to change things up a little, and see how fans like the idea.

Am thinking they will be split. With some not liking it at all, and some really
liking it. ..Have to admit, honestly like the idea on this end. It just gives you
another option, or choice which is cool imho. :)

Busy dial and caseback. Rather ordinary lume too

It's interesting how some times the tritium tubes do seem to be a little
dim Steve. ..Never have seen them in person, but they don't seem to
be as bright as regular lume a lot of the time.

Oh, and on the dial, I wonder if the white dial actually almost makes
everything seem busier. Just because of the vibrant color, and even
the different contrasts.

Terrific detective work, along with observations sir ! :thumb::thumb:

Ok, I'm gonna start this out with. When do you really need lume ? A lot of folks here make a big deal about it. But the fact is, if you want lume 24/7 then you need to go Tritium. I don't care what anybody says on here. But no applied lume can live up to Tritium. You could sit in the sun for four hours and or blast your watch with an LED light. But it still isn't going to last all night. You are all exaggerating. I will say Seiko comes the closest. But nothing else comes close. Oh, by the way, this watch is pretty cool too.
