Did you guys ever see this great looking Luminox? It's called the P-38 Lightning, and it pays tribute to the legendary plane of the same name. You can even choose between two models in a GMT, and chronograph. With each having 44mm brushed stainless steel cases, AR coated sapphire crystals, 200 meter WR, and either a quartz GMT, or chronograph movement. Looks like you get some nice leather straps, and really eye-catching tubes on the watches as well.

Here's a look everybody...

Not bad looking watches... They don't really look like classic pilot watches though... I mean, you could stamp P-38 on a diver watch too and it wouldn't do "homage" to the WWII airplane era... JMHO

Off topic... The P-38 Lightning was very successful in the Pacific theater where it was flown at low altitudes warm climates and by experienced pilots against less experienced Japanese pilots... However, it was a failure in the European Theater where it had to fly at high altitude to escort bombers into Germany with barely enough range to get there, very poor heating and complex systems... The pilots often had no multi-engine experience and the engines were prone to failure... They also faced experienced German fighter pilots. That all changed when the P-51 Mustang arrived!

Atomic Tom:
Great watches. Great airplane the P38 Lightning.
I'm long in tha tooth and can remember seeing
the aircraft in flight. Unforgettable engine and
prop sound.
How appropriate to title the watch after a great
WW2 Pursuit aircraft.
