Hi All,
So, the Ensign is a divers, the Rapide is a chrono, so the only thing missing in the lineup was a dress watch. So here it is, the Deadline.

Specs are:
All steel case
All steel mesh
Leather strap
Sapphire crystal
Sunburst black / cream dials with applied markers.
Lume on hands and at hour markers
Date
2nd retrograde time zone at 6
Miyota GP01 quartz movement
Case 42mm (without crown) by 47mm
Lugs 20mm
Dial 37mm
I chose the GP01 as my thoughts were to make a dress watch for the business man. I've travelled a fair bit on business across time zones, so I wanted there to be a way to have 2 time zones on the watch and rather than a GMT hand and bezel, thought the GP01 movement offered an elegant way of doing it while keeping the watch clean.
Other thoughts:
Didn't think a deployment clasp suited it so kept the mesh as seen.
Might change the leathers to some sort of crocodile skin pattern.
May get rid of the second hand all together.
I might try a different way of getting this to market; a presale:
"Band One" pricing if you preorder based on the renderings.
"Band Two", higher, pricing if you preorder based on the prototypes.
Still costing it up, but I'd like to think this would be a £129.99 watch with both straps.
Then there will be the regular price.
