I fail to see, and stress that this is my personal opinion, the 'vintage' aspect of these watches, beginning with those dreaded crown protectors which I start disliking more with every passing week . And them 'batman' bezels with triangle and lume pip aren't very novel........

To make a long story short, for the money B&R are charging one can buy four Certina DS Action Diver Automatic's! ISO 6425 certified and 200 meters WR.

Really appreciate your honesty, and telling it the way you see it Frans.
Guess B&R are kind of just looking to give you a somewhat vintage
theme with the vintage collection. But not necessarily a full on classic
vintage feel, or homage style.

Like you are pointing out there are more than a couple aspects that
aren’t actually vintage-like. Even the hands are different looking,
as is the 41mm size. Which would kind of be considered big back in
day. ..Oh, and I guess there were’t bronze watches too much years
back either.

Basically these watches seem to pay tribute to vintage watches it
seems, but definitely have a modern way about them. Especially
price wise as you said. Thanks so much for your 2 cents sir !!

 

Love the military watch but that price is insane.

 

That one is extra nice Forza, but you are so right, not a lot of bang
for the buck with these ! At least we have the pictures to enjoy. :anim_63:
