i'm neither a pro (watch guy) nor refined so i'll admit to my tooth brush and paste, it disgusts the wife though so tread with caution and enjoy the results.
Just make sure to use non abrasive tooth gel, not paste, the grit in the paste will scratch up the finish.

I tend to give mine a wash in mild hand soap, then rinse well. The titanium and stainless steel look great afterwards. If the dirt is a bit more stubborn or hard to reach for instance in between the links I use a sonic cleaner.

Great find on that band!

I usually just wipe my watched with a micro fiber cloth, but if I'm working outside with my dive watch on and it gets some dirt on it, I just rinse it off well with the hose at the same time that I'm rinsing my hands/arms.

But I try not to rub it much with anything.
