Ok well I just got dumped via text message. I have been dating this girl since December. Everything seemed to be okay. I just dont really get it. Everyone was so happy that she was dating me. She went through alot in her life and her last boyfriend caused her all kinds of problems. They all said she was finally happy when she started dating me. I had noticed her becoming distant the past few weeks and I asked her about it and she said she wanted to go out more. Well its not so easy for me right now since I am unemployed but I made an effort I guess that wasn't good enough. I treated her like no one else has. Her words not mine. I never talked down to her. I never hit her. I gave her $100 to send to her mom so she didnt get her power turned off. The thing that bothers me the most is that I really cared for her. I have been hurt so many times its not easy for me to get emotionally attached to a girl but I did with her. My fault I guess. Anyway sorry about all this but I need to let it out.

I am truly sorry to hear this. There is no explaining people; sometimes you give someone exactly what they need or want and they throw it away. It's easy for me to say and a bit cliche but bear with me.....you are better off and will get over it. You will meet someone that appreciates your gracious nature, trust me on this. The bad times you've experienced will only be used to measure the future happiness you will surely find.

I am all good, been working on this 26 T for 5 weeks now, I painted the Body last week it looks good! I start the Doors, Splash Aprons, and the Dash tomorrow, lots and lots of Blacking and sanding!

. . . . Sounds like she was damaged. Rest assured that you are better off free of her. It sounds hollow, I know, but take it from an old-timer . . . . you can't fix people, and life always works to the lowest common denominator. You would end up being pulled down long before you would pull her up.

It's a long show my friend, stick it out, the next act will probably surprise you . . .

Really sorry to hear about what happened. While I know it hurts right now and there is nothing that anyone can say to fix this current hurt - it WILL get better and you WILL get past this eventually.

She OWED you the simple courtesy of speaking to you face to face...I think that was a cowardly move & done by someone who you never would have been able to count on...Women who are deserving of your love & attention would NEVER do anything so crass as to end a relationship with a text message...That just isn't done by anyone who has integrity, it really isn't and you don't want someone like that standing by your side.

Sorry to hear that this went down the way it did. Not much I can offer you at this time...... but to keep your head up and move on. As they say about Lotto....you got to be in it to win it. So get back out there and don't let this incident poison you. Keep positive and keep looking for the RIGHT woman.

AS much as it doesn't feel good now . . . my gut tells me that it's better to have ended now, than after you've invested that much more emotion into her.

Something that helps me work through these types of disappointments is to realize that there is NO WAY (in a few months) that a person can know me personally enough for me to "take on" the others behavior as "a reaction to me". In other words . . . I highly doubt she knew you well enough that her behavior was based on you . . . personally . . . I imagine her behavior had nothing to do with you, and was probably rooted in her past experiences and how she dealt with them.


Still . . . I'm sorry that she did this . . . just remember that she didn't do it to YOU . . . hell, if she only knew you . . . RIGHT?!?!?!?!

Hey man im sorry to hear about this, It must be pretty tough for you obviously, But in my opinion if she is the kind of person to just leave you for no reason, she isnt the kind of person to hang on to, Imagine if you had dated for a LONG time and then she turned around and said the same thing. Duches said it best, IVXX. I'm sorry you got hurt, bro, but you're a good guy, and there is someone special out there with whom you are meant to be. Not to sound cliche, but everything does happen for a reason. At least you know it wasn't anything you did. Just hang in there, bro, and the right one will come along...when you least expect it.
