Reported today on CNN & HLN, NASA's Lunar impact probe from early last month, reveals the presence of water on the Moon. (http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/space/11/13/water.moon.nasa/index.html)
This of course with the fact that a large percentage of Lunar dust is Oxygen (http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1120755,00.html), this opens the possibilities of Lunar Bases and extended Human Space presence.
