I got this watch from my grandpa and it is too small for my wrist. I was wondering what options I have for other watch bands (leather or metal). I am a new member so this may be posted in the wrong area, if thats the case- please feel free to move it where it should be.

Well, with lugs like that the only option I could suggest is possibly having a leather strap made to fit it, but I'm not sure how that would look?
I tend to avoid watches with unique or proprietary lug designs just for that reason.

We have quite a few strap makers here on the forum that might be willing to take on that challenge.

Thanks for your response. I feel like it would look good with a black leather strap but don't know who to seek out to make one for me. How much is it to have a stra custom made? I have very little knowledge of movado watches, and don't know which model this one is. Is it worth the cost of having a strap made or should I contact movado to try to get an extra link?

I bought a Movado for my wife- model #0601111 the band is slightly too small and we need to enlarge it with one or two links. I called Movado and they said they have no new links and I must send it in and they will see if they have any NOS links in the repair stock room. That's the only way they will attempt to enlarge it. Can anyone here help me ? thanks

It seems that your in a similar situation as I am. I feel that there has to be a better options then sending it back to Movado to "see" if they have any extra links in the repair room. Unfortunately, after googling Movado bands and checking out Ebay, I can't seem to find a better option. ?

Interesting looking watch. If you want to keep the original band, I think you can add a few links to it. I searched for "links for Movado 8410961" and found the following link for possibilities:

That's a Movado esperanza. I have that watch from a long time ago. You can find parts on ebay, such as extra links and pins.
