Most elegant watch for 300 $

I am searching a watch for up to 300 $ as a gift for a male friend, it should be very elegant and of course a automatic watch.
Stainless steel and no vintage watch.

What watches do you recommend me to buy in europe?

If by elegant, you mean a dress watch, I would give a good look at the Orient Bambinos. There are several versions of them. They can be found in the USA for under $200, I'm sure they are a comparable value in the European market. They have a proprietary in-house automatic movement that hacks and hand winds. Exceptional value for such a good looking watch.

Hi Patrick, it's so neat that you found us. 😀 Welcome !

I actually think Gary knocked it out of the park with Orient here
above. 🏆🥇 They do everything you want for that price, but also
much much more. Seriously are near impossible to beat, and other
brands don't have their own movements as Gary said. 😉

They looks as if they cost a few thousand $, not a few hundred.

I agree with Seiko, except it’s getting harder to find their watches under $300, especially in Europe with VAT. So I made sure to go with the brand that is under $200 to be safe

Excellent job sir, those Orients are simply beautiful to tell the
truth. Not to mention amazing bang for the buck for everything
you get. Plus the elegance factor is off the charts. 😉

I also tried to keep the price below $200 with these Seiko 5,
as well as Recraft models sir. Some of them are actually just
barely over $100 if you can believe it. 🙂

If you are going under 1k Seiko does offer some nice elegant watches at that price point but for under 300 bucks I agree with Gary the Orient Bambino offers some really good-looking dress watches

You’re so right Bob, and I swear, some of the stunners Gary found
remind you, or remind me rather of the ultra cool Glashutte Original
Sixties Iconic Collection. 😎 Just the style of the watches, and the
mesmerizing dial colors are terrific !

Thanks Gary and AtomicTom. I am already a fan of Seiko but it's already something typical here in Europe I would say. On the other side the Orient Bambinos (sounding somewhat italian) are a great tip for me since I have not heard from them and on Amazon europe there are available for under 200 euros!!

Let me just throw this out there... the Timex Marlin. Google it. Less than $300 with bracelet. Many discounts available, as well. Once onto the Timex site, search, "Automatic". Many fine options for even half that!

Even display backs!

I guess you never count out Timex!

I was given a Timex Marlin for Christmas. I really like that watch.
