Several month ago I jettisoned a springbar, I looked high and low for it.
Then today, while vacuuming, it made its reappearance; just under where my feet rest.

It was undamaged and ready for its next assignment.

I have seen more than one watchmaker have a not-so-strong magnetic "stick" on the end of a broom handle that they use to find small parts that go flying..

I've had parts smaller than a head of a pin go flying off into the void not to be found at that time after an exhaustive search, but instead, weeks later after seeing a small glint of light reflecting off the lost part...

Yowza, now that was lucky Wrascal. It sounds like it was
mere seconds away from being vacuumed up. But thankfully it
sounds like you have eagle eyes there, and rescued the springbar
from certain doom. It has to be as thankful as you are to have
the chance to help change another terrific looking strap.
