My first real big concert was Boston, first night of the Boston reunion tour in Boston in the mid 80's. Shortly after I went to the Motley Crew - Girls Girls Girls show with Whitesnake opening up. Both bands were HUGE at the time and the concert was amazing. I have been lucky enough to be involved in the entertainment industry for the past 20 years and seen hundreds of shows during that time, but I always say that my first 2 were pretty amazing.

Hi James, I remember Boston! What a great group. I remember seeing them at the old "Chicago Stadium". If memory serves they have only produced three albums, which I have. Good time and awesome rock! Thanks James for bringing back some memories. ....Bob

I was 15 when I got to go to my first concert. They were busy filming "The Getaway" with Steve McQueen and Ali McGraw in El Paso, TX...and Elton John came to the Sun Bowl. Now if you ask El Pasoans...you would think 40,000 people were at the concert...but there was less than 5000 people...as they set up the stage in front of the Press Box side of the stadium...and the Sun Bowl only held 30,000 back then. My dad brought me to the concert...because at 15...I couldn't drive then, and he was...and still is at 80...an Elton John fan. It was really cool though...he played songs from the not yet released album, Madman Across the Water, and played for the first time on stage this new song they had just finished adding to the album...."Rocket Man." They also played some songs that Bernie and Elton had just written...to see if the crowd liked them...One of them being Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. These songs wouldn't come out until 1974's album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road...but we got to hear them in advance. Most fun I had at a concert until I went to see U2 in Phoenix in the late 1980's.
