I'm interested in Lum tec, but won't buy something without checking it out for myself first. I checked the lumtec website but couldn't find an authorized dealer or a store that carries them in my area of the world (Atlanta ga).

any input would be greatly appreciated

well, that would certainly explain it lol

ill post it if I find it
You will find that most microbrands are online only sales. Retail market is becoming a thing of the past for the most part. Even Formex, once a brand sold in stores and dealers recently changed and went to direct online sales only.

I would call Lum-tec, ask for Bes and just talk to them saying you want to check one out and what their return policy is. The site says you have 48 hours to return , unworn and undamaged. Unworn usually means not worn for a long period of time and unsized, but that does not mean you can not try it on at least.
I would call and just explain that you are not sure if it will be for you and make sure you know the return policy and if there will be any issues if you put in for a return a few hours after delivery of the watch.

Their website has a list of authorized dealers - none in Atlanta area:

I wouldn't shy away from purchasing just because you cannot see in person - I don't think I have a single watch in my collection that I saw in person before buying. Pay attention to the specs of the watch case (case diameter, lug-to-lug, lug width) to see if it is something that falls within your "sweet spot" to wear on the wrist, then if you like the looks/movement/price/etc, I say go for it (especially if you know you can return within 48 hours if by chance after seeing in person you decide it's not for you).

This sounds like the way to go.

If you've made up your mind, there are many Lum-Tec models available on Amazon.
