Do you shop for a new watch everyday ?...Not do you buy everyday but, simply look to buy...And when you begin your daily hunt, do you everhopeNOT to findone that catches your eye simply because you've already purchased X number of watches this month ?

I ask these questions as I sit here looking at handbags & hoping that I don't find one that I can't live without because I have two new ones in my closet that haven't even seen the light of day yet...Yes, I know that's insane to shop & hope I don't find something to buy.

Every single day without fail.....I check multiple site and daily deal specials even when I know I can't buy. I try to share finds on the forum for others but also, I learn what good pricing is before I'm ready to buy.

I look everyday for a number of reasons but mostly to see what stuff is priced @

for example i recently purchased a watch (Citizen Eco-Zilla) that i have seen priced at 60-80 more than what i paid -so i guess i got a good deal, i see alot of watches i like and alot of price differences so i will pretty much know when a price is or isnt a good deal

i cant afford to buy one every day, week, or multiples a month so i have to pick & choose what i do get

i also see alot of new styles and brands that i like and get a feel for what i want and what i can & cant afford to buy so i expand my knowledge of what's out there in my price range and whats slightly above my price point which i may consider in the future

Dushess, are you sure you're not my wife? lol She has a few purses that I have never seen her use, or use once then put away. I like to window shop, just do it online and watches are one of the things I enjoy shopping for.

why do you think we post on watch forums so much.....

I look at watches constantly and there are always so many I want to buy and the list keeps getting longer...lol.

right now i want a sas on rubber, a nfw autopilot, a boschett cave dweller, a steinhart triton, a deep blue 2000m diver, a chase durer missle command, a hamilton twilight, a hamilton tachymiller, a luminox 8152, and the list goes on and on....

its a constant thing for most us watch guys, the hunt always continues......

(ps. Duchess, i moved this to the general watch section , as this is a watch related question..)

I look every day. Not just watches. But mostly watches.

I'm one of those guys that loves shopping but not just for me.I'll go with my GF to the store even if she's looking for herself. If it's clothes she knows she'll find me in the lingere dept. If she finds something she likes I get it for her, no problem.

I work hard for my money and darn it I'm gonna spend it however I please. I'm not married (ever) have no kids (ever) so whatever is left over after I die can go in the box with me along with my watches. :%

I'm taking it with me, all of it.

I look at watches on the net everyday as well. Do some bargain hunting and then onto many that I want or ones I've seen/hear about that I want to check out. Now handbags?? You and Linda ought to get together on that one. She is a handbag "Freek". In fact she is in the process of procurring some "knock offs" this weekend. Me? I don't say a word. Just let me buy what I want and I'm happy. LOL.

I pretty much look at watches daily. I've done so for over 15 years.

I guess I've put myself into a NBZ until I really figure out what I want to buy.

It's not that I don't have watches in mind, but I find "valid" reasons to "shoot down" every one that I see.

Besides a replacement Grand Diver that I snagged from InvictaShark . . . I haven't bought a new watch since the Tourbillon, back in November. :BE

I look at watches every single day. Like most, I check multiple deal of the day sites, always looking for a good deal.

Talking about handbags, you would get along great with my wife and daughters. The wife has a serious "problem" with Dooney and Bourkes. I think she has around 12 or so, and she got the kids into them too. They have around 6 or so apiece.

Guilty of the same. Just purchased 2 expensive (for me, anyway) timepieces which I thought would tide me over at least until the end of the summer. Nope. I spend at least 2 hours everyday cruising the sales sections of various watch sites. Weekends are even worse. Right now, would love to pick up a Precista PRS 50 (no radiation dial; unlimited version) or a 2000 meter diver from Deep Blue.

Hi Duchess,

I love that there is another lady on the forum. :) Girl, yes, I look for watches every day and like you, hope that I do not find one that I have to have because I have several watches, some that I never wear and not because I don't like them, but because I have quite a few. :) lol. I was like that with handbags for a while as well. It was nuts. I finally quit looking at handbags though still have a little bit of a "peak" around some times. ;) There is one watch that I would buy if I saw it and that is this older Orient slide rule watch. Can't find it anywhere though. Ugh. These addictions are too much. I am really glad that we make our own straps as a few years ago I was buying them from everywhere else. Now I only wear our own strap collections and that has saved me tons! LOL
