I've been looking for a solid work watch I'll enjoy a bit more than the black beuties I sport daily. I wrap up a degree last year and took a position that's not the daily grind.
The mvmnt, DiaShield case, bezel, crystal, bracelet, specs and reputation sold me. I couldn't see upper end Seiko's so I settled for reviews and images. It may be too flashy, ostentatious for work. It's crazy beautiful and eye catching with the brushed and polished facets of the case.

I'd considered the U1T, and a couple Tudors since I'm celebrating, but Seiko's are soooo appealing. I plan to add some pics when I have some time.

Well then a DOUBLE dynamic dueling congratulations on the degree
as well as this magnificent MM300 here Cameron !!! :D:D

You know, honestly I don’t think this watch is flashy at all really sir, it
is perfect I think. ;) With a personality that genuinely can morph into
any situation you might need it for. Plus it isn’t a watch that everyone
is going to have in the office. Or even know just how terrific of a watch
it is either. Yet will turn heads on those who do know watches, as well
as on those who don’t right?! And at the end of the day will most likely
be THE best watch around, no matter where you are.

Yup, no doubt, Seikos are appealing Cameron, and this particular one
is a showstopper I think. ..It’s equal parts class, and sport, and is built
like a tank. ..Yowza, a GIANT congrats again on EVERYTHING here !!

This is a great watch! I bought one last week! It's as close to a GS one can get & not have GS on the dial. As you know, it has an undecorated GS movement, although not regulated. But it's a monobloc case. Mine is running at +2 seconds per day. My bracelet is already gone for a StrapCode, Very sweet pick up! Congrats!

Thanks Tom, mucho appreciation. I like to fly below the radar, watch guys get it and others just think Seiko (?) ¯\(ツ)/¯.
My favorite son caught me ogling/researching Seiko. Due to his sphere, and marketing, he puts Seiko below Citizen, Bulova, Fossil, and the others on the general retail shelf. He was shocked when quoted prices, up to the Credors; silly boy. They're each one my favorite, each child that is. Have a great day Tom

Don't mention it Cameron, :) and I will have a great day because when I read
posts like this it always makes my day. (y)(y) I just love hearing how passionate
you are with Seiko, this watch here, as well as not only this hobby, but much more
importantly, your family. 🥇🏆

They are lucky to have you, and I know you are lucky to have them sir.

I love that you are getting them into watches like this too ! ;) I mean who knows,
maybe they will be really getting into the hobby and looking to show you a new
watch they got, or watch company they like in the future. :D

Thank You for the input Roarry. That's great that you just got one, I'm in good company. I'm running +2 too, that's solid.

What StrapCode?

I bought the Hexad. Some of SC for the MM will accept the MM clasp, but not the Hexad. The weight really helps balance the watch head. As you know it's a bit top heavy.
I like that style, it's tool and aggressive not so slick and refined as this stock bracelet; it's easily a mm thicker, that could change the wear. I tried an aftermarket bracelt once and the color of the stainless was off noticably, I couldn't settle with it. Please let me know how you like you SC when you fit it.

It starts somewhere, he likes watches now but it's a fashionthing, not a watchthing, yet. I've always liked watches, but they were never an interrest, or hobby if it be.

(y);) Great points Cameron, come to think about it, when I was
wearing my Swatch or Fossil years back. I wasn’t really into watches
as a hobby either at the time. You are right it has to start somewhere. :)

Very nice looking watch
Thank You! I'm stoked with it, and after a week on the bracelet, I put it on the strap, and it's better than expected. I am checking straps out now, it's the darker presence instead of the glint of steel I'm favoring. A hardy leather might work well. Thanks again T, hope You have a great day.

I would like to throw my hat in the ring for a good leather strap option. I have made a few straps for watchfreek members in the past you can see one of them here. Very little mention of the Tudor brand
