Some of you may have read my "Accidental Grail" thread here about my bronze dialed JeanRichard. Hey Pallet, how does this wear on your wristbig,small, normal? I am tempted but the 44mm size may be the max I can go. Or does anyone think getting the womans size in this is okay at 39mm?

With a 7 1/4 inch wrist it wears fine on me. It is a 44mm cushion case so it is much like a Panerai but with a flat back.

It seems many folks are opting for the smaller 39mm size, which I can not speak to. Based on pictures it seems like they were able to make all of the proportions work with the design but the proof would be in the wearing. It would be small on me meethinks.

Holy crap Spoon,I was ready to pull the trigger on a J.R. I've had my eye on for awhile over there at A.F.T.They have them on sale now also, but for a G note more for what it cost from Ashford along with the code.That is some ridicules pricing on this brand.Geez with the money I just saved I picked the wife up one too. Thanks for the heads up and the code......You're the man.

Those Hokusai dials are some of the best looking and most desirable models ... my second choice was the all black Hokusai with red accents.

Jeep99dad, I think you and I were on the same wavelength. I have also had an all black on my shopping list as well but opted for the limited edition Golden Eagle. Mine should also arrive on Wednesday ... yes many are more than 800 including this one, but a bargain at these prices.

Anyone got any wrist shots? Very tempted but have a wrist just south of 7 inches. (about 6.75) Although my Doxa Aquaman fits okay I wanted to get an idea of which size to choose.
