If no one would know (unless you told them), would you purchase and wear a fake luxury watch and let people conclude that it was the "real deal"?

For example, I'm not really referring to homages or look-a-likes, etc.; I'm thinking in terms of a non-authentic Rolex that you could purchase for $100 and fool all but the most experienced watch freek.

absolutley not............and no replica or fake watches is allowed here for discussion. these companies are trying to rip off the actual companies of said watches.........replica talk or links to replica sites are not allowed here.

I would never ever wear a fake and try to pass it off. I just could not do it. And who would believe I was wearing a $10,000 watch. I can not afford it and most people would know I was a big liar.

That is my reason for not wearing fake copies of expensive watch brands.

I couldn't do it either; for the same reasons that TVD mentioned. I can't walk around with the appearance of being a big shot knowing that the watch is a lie.

i understand your question, and i understand you were only asking, but just like every other forum, discussion of replicas is not allowed. sorry, but replica watches do hit a nerve with me.......homages are one thing, but replicas are chinese companies, ripping off and selling there product to look like the real thing........again, i know you were only asking a question, and their is no harm done, but in the future please do not discuss replica watches in any form or text here on the forum. thank you.

Not only do they rip off the watch company -but also the consumer

if you buy one of these things you are getting the short end of the stick - thew thing will last maybe a couple of months at most

you are better off spending that hard earned money on a hommage watch -such as the Invicta Pro-Diver 8926
-same look - saves the money

besides -everyone that knows you will know it couldnt possibly be real!!

Why lie? You are basically saying a lot about yourself if you make the decision to wear a fake Rolex? I think it is sad.
