I am the same way....always hold the door, pull out a chair and always ladies before gents..thats the way I was brought up from my grandfather and thats the way my son is going to be raised. I always either held the elderly also no matter if its a man or a women.I don't believe that chivalry is quite dead, yet. I still do, as I was taught . . . open doors, pull out the chair, ladies before gents, etc.
