I have never owned a Lupah, or any watch for that matter with the square/rectangle shape. I just have always been a round watch guy. But I have always been interested in the Lupah Chronographs.
Don (Tattoo Chef) knew I was on the fence about buying one of these. We had talked about it over the past few months a few times but I just never had looked at one for real, held it, put it on my wrist, etc.
Well Don recently had a very nice situation happen with him. So in that spirit he gifted his Lupah to me. I had no idea he was doing it and one day it just showed up at my office with a note from Don. I was blown away. Thank you again Don.
For my first time handling one of these I can tell why the Lupah model has been so popular for the brand for such a long time. It is a very good looking watch, with a lot of distinctive features that make it both unique and very cool at the same time. And while it is a large watch, it really does not wear like one due to the curve of the case. The deployment buckle is cool, but does take some time to get used to. What I really like about it is that once you get it where you want it, the leather strap becomes completely like a bracelet in how it comes off and one, which I DO like very very much sin ce I am a big bracelet fan and take my watch on and off many times per day.
Below is a quick picture I took of the watch today and some stats about the watch. Great fit and I am excited to add this watch to my collection.
