I kinda like this design but fell over when I saw the price considering the rubber strap??

Would anyone pay $2500 or more if a watch had a rubber or plastic strap?

Honestly - i dont think i would spend $2,500 on a watch at all

I think at this point in my life I'm right here with ya G!
Just too many other important things to spend that kind of money on.....daughter's education, etc.

Yeah and i have 2 kids - so i'm kinda tapped out at under 1G seriously

with all the selections out there -good or bad- i can buy just about any look i want for 200-300

You are paying as much for the name on the watch as for the watch. Would I spend $2500 on a watch if I had that money as disposable income - YES, of course. But not that watch because I just do not like the way it looks overall. Just my opinion of THAT watch in the OP.

For me the answer is no, but I can honestly tell you, if it had a bracelet I would say know as well. I refuse to spend any more then $1500.00 on any watch, bot that I cant afford it, but There is just to much Margin in any watch at that price!

I wouldn't pay $2500 for a rubber strap watch UNLESS getting it at that price (plus the cost of a new bracelet), was less than buying the bracelet model, outright. Plus, it would need to be a $4K watch on sale for $2500! :lol
