I've been 'reminded' how nice a 'small-ish' watch can be; i.e, ...

I wore this BNIB watch out to dinner yesterday with my wife and family!
In between all the Valentine's 'pleasantries', I did receive couple of
"nice watch!" comments - one of which was from our server!

Although my li'l Nicolet is only Ø=42mm, since it's almost 'all-bezel',
it definitely 'wears bigger!' IMHO, it definitely is a TERRIFIC 'looker!'

... and that sporty rotor'd ETA-2824 'on display' doesn't hurt either! ...

BTW, here's what my 110%-Mirror-Finished J177986 looks like on ShopNBC!

Gee, FWIW, you'd think that they and/or Nicolet could at least
'dream up a nice name' other than "Thee-Hand Swiss Automatic!"

On that note, I'd go with "Le Normandie" since it's as elegant as
the ca. 1935 French Ocean Liner bearing that same name, and, ...

"Yes, Virginia, that IS a SOLID Lalique Crystal Ceiling!" ...

... Plus, IMHO, it always appears to be 'Ready To Hit The Beach!' - but I digress!

quality pictures. 42mm is not small and only relevant size wise to the wearer. if you are comfortable wearing a watch that size or any size then that is perfect for you.

Nothin' wrong with that fine timepiece! Nice choice to wear out with the family.

If 42mm fits and looks nice . . . then there's no reason to not wear a 42mm watch (you like my double negative) :)!

Thanks for sharing this experience!

There's nothing wrong with a 42mm watch.

Especially when they look as nice as that one. :b
