I recieved my Lefty TransOcean diver today from Wing, and I can honestly say for $150.00 and 500 meters of water resistance I am actually impressed. The watch is raw and Industrial as I like them, and has a good look too it. Bracelet is not bad, and the bezel feels solid. For $150.00 I am quite impressed, with the size, the feel and the heft of the watch. I cant quite believe I own a Purple dialed watch, I never thought I would have seen the day, but I will keep it!

I also bought my first Android and I am as impressed as you are regarding the quality of this brand. I got the Concept T retrograde and it too is a keeper.

What I am truly trying to figure out is how he builds a 500m water resistant watch for $150.00, when the world charges extra for building a watch too these depths?

Maybe the build quality or as it is thought of @ 500m really isnt what they all advertise? Another marketing ploy by the watch Industry!

Wing said on another forum that:

"2010 will have many new designs with ETA2824. We are working on 2 new designs with Valjoux 7750 but not yet confirmed due to the movement availability."

I haven't purchased an Android yet. I like that one though. Maybe next year when I get out of the hole I will pick one up.

I cant believe it's $150.00, that just blows my mind! I bet the watch is close to 275 to 300 grams and wears bigger then a SAN III!:b

Hey that's a nice looking watch Rip! Definitely a little outside the box for Android. I like the "rugged" design.
Now the question........do the socks match the watch?:%:%:%:%
