For the past couple of months this cheap Charlie has been drinking/ spending - spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave (one Hamilton, two Sinns, and a Tudor).

Yet tonight I stole (under eBays second chance / where the actual winner backed out) - another beautiful unneeded work watch - from the Omega family. It comes with a bracelet, a rubber strap and a Nato nylon; but no leather. I'm not sure I can afford to continue buying quality leathers after all of this!

Now accepting donations - otherwise I'm spending my kids inheritance.

I swear seems just like yesterday that you were focusing on the next cool

It’s been a blast to watch not only because it’s so fun to see someone’s
watches. But because of the sheer pace you have been on, and see the
centerpiece watches you have all of the sudden gotten into. It’s been great!

Yup, I genuinely think the kids will be impressed, and who knows, maybe
you will get them into watches as a result. 😀 Wouldn’t that be terrific?!
All of you guys could enjoy the hobby together, which would make the
hobby that much more amazing imho.

As my face is posted in most post offices I don't dare make actual appearances; therefore I shop online for watches and other necessities.

This eBay seller has already physically shipped it off to be authenticated!

Due to holiday schedules both delivery and authenticating services were shut down, but have now come to life. The Omega passed its examination and was returned to FedEx for delivery.

eBay says delivery will be Saturday while FedEx says this Friday.

Still nothing on the U50 coming from somewhere; its last due date is this Friday.

The Omega arrived!
So intervene this (rubber then bracelet, cloth Nato gets to snooze).
I don't understand why it appears dusty, it is sparkly shiny glossy.

You know what those speckles might be sir?! Is there may be
a kind of metal flake metallic paint underneath that glossiness
of the bezel. 😉 It might be almost like a clear coat on a car
where it is on top of the actual color. But no matter how you
slice it, it is both a beautiful bezel, as well as watch in general !
One of the instantly recognizable modern day Omega marvels
in which everyone can see coming from a mile away.

Now may I ask?! Which combo do you like so far the best?
Is it the bracelet? Or the strap? Either way is great, but I was
wondering what you liked more. ..In any case, I wish you a
MEGA cool Omega congratulations !!!

Strap change?

While its still cold weather time here I know that rubber doesn't breath well in our southern humidity - so I dismissed it; and while it may be perfect for diving that's not my lifestyle. So then it became a question of fabric (which I do like when they're dry, but not so much when wet) or the bracelet.

I decided to give this bracelet a chance - and I am really liking it - it is so slick, and Comfy! That is a sensation I've experienced several times this past year, and may have me reconsidering (those Heavy, clunky) bracelets.

However ... generally speaking I prefer customized leather, and I've decided to try the leather I previously ordered for the missing Sinn U50 - it is a near perfect match for this Omega - both in size and color.

Hey, its only my kids inheritance I'm gambling.

Very cool Wrascal. I figured you might lean toward the strap,
as well as be looking forward to what leather masterpieces might be
in the future for this one. But it’s great to hear that the bracelet feels
as good as it looks sir. 😎 Honestly I think you can’t lose no matter
which direction you go. And it think it’s terrific that even though you
like straps, that you are still open to bracelets. ..Enjoy sir !

Regarding those specs on most recent photo - it might be just secondary reflection from light coming from metal parts underneath the glass. That or leftover metalic paint
