Do Maui Downhill - it is a bike ride from the top of the Volcano to the sea (10K feet). My wife and I did it when we were out there and it is a blast! They bring you up for sunrise over the crater and you stop for lunch on the way down...well worth the time and money!

Here is a link - http://www.mauidownhill.com/mauibiketours/summitsunrise.html

The road to Hana is a ride up the twisty coast of HI...you go past a bunch of waterfalls, a black sand beach...etc.

We went snorkeling and sport fishing too...all great!

What part of the island are you staying? We stayed in Wailea at the Fairmont Kea Lani -- great area and great hotel. Let me know and I can track down a few of the restaurants that we liked...

Never went to Oahu...went to Maui, Lanai and Kawaii...definitely go see the monument in the harbor!!
Thanks for the info. We will be staying on the North Shore of Maui near Napili. Yea restaurant ideas would be fantastic.

Aloha Bro !!!

I sent you a reply to you PM look in your inbox!! I would be VERY happy to show you around the Vally Island!! We have to get together !! In your PM you never mentioned anything about coming to Maui !!!! Only the North Shore. PM your itinerary andsome times when you can take a break from sitting on the beach listening to your beard grow to get the "insiders'" tour of Maui ( Maui no ka oe ) .

ALOHA HWF's (Hawaii Watch Freeks);

How about turning the visit from Watchguru58 into a WFGT will enough of us be able to have a get together either on Oahu or on Maui?? What do all of you think ?? We should all try to pull this off ! not only do we get to greet one of our mainland Ohana but I bet that if we were to invite some of the product reps for SNBC products they just might try to come ! what could be better for them ? A "business" trip to Hawaii !!!! what do all of us think ????

Please RSVP !

maui - just keep Rob away from your watches - he might try and confiscate them for "evidence" then you'll never see them again!!!

Congrats to you, Rob, on your 11 years and on the trip. I've never had the pleasure of going to HI, but my wife and I plan to someday. Our son is 6 and that is one heck of a long flight to put him through. Obviously I have no recommendations, but I wish you a great trip! Which watch will be your Scuba diver? Man, it would take me a while to make that decision, haha. Again, congrats - I'm sure you'll love it. I talk to customers from there on a daily basis, and everyone ALWAYS seems so happy and cheerful; kinda makes me want to go even more!

Ed-

I will check my PM's. I will be in Maui on May 11th, 12th, and 13th. I will be in Oahu on the 8th, 9th, & 10th. I will have my laptop and G1 there so we can communicate.I would love to meet up with you. When I get my plans a little more finalized I will PM you. I will be staying at Turtle Bay in Oahu and Napili Shore in Maui.

I think a WFGT on the Islands would be fantastic. I will bring some of Georges confiscated watches to share with everybody Ha Ha LOL!!!

Thank BT. This will be my second time to the islands. It is an awesome place to visit and I encourage you tomake it there someday. As for the dive watch, I will be taking 4 total to test fly them in the water. I will have the Kremke, a Sector, a Seiko Monster, and my Helix. I will do a review on them when I return.

CONGRATS on both counts, the wedding anniversary and Hawaii. Since you have already been there you know what a blast it will be. I've been their twice and the first time my wife and I enjoyed it so much our two week vacation ended up lasting a month. The second time I went without my wife for a wedding and was there for another week.

Alas I will never make that trip again because 11 hours is just to long a trip. Lol

Enjoy!

Oops I forgot the most important thing. The Pineapples! You have to bring home a case or two. If you didn't experience the Hawaiian pineapples the first time, or the shaved ice, you can't miss it this time. You have never had a pineapple until you have had a Hawaiian Dole Pineapple.

We brought home two case and they were gone in a flash.
