That is a good video with a lot of info and part numbers. I need a scratch remover pen and she does give a lot of good general advice.

Maybe we can get scratch remover pens that say WatchFreeks on them. That would be cool. I need to look into that.

I work with a ton of companies that put logos or company names on just about everything. That would be cool for something to do someday, lol

A great how to video Marc! Thanks for the video and the link. It was interesting that the gal used a very small watch to demonstate on. I like your idea of watchfreek on a scratch brush.. That WatchFreek label would be so cool on a number of things. ....Bob

That video shows the cheap dimestore movement and battery with the pressure strap.None of the watches we have are that simple. heres one I just finished.

plastic tweezers will work to remove the battery, but you need to just ground the watch instead because with the newer watches, you'll need tools to access the battery.

Very informative dealing with the basic removal of a battery.

Though I've worked on a few of my older models..

I would like to think that this won't be needed on my newer models, anytime soon...

Then again...

No matter the project...

Knowledge of the process,is the key...

But.. it's alwayseasier when you have the right tools.

Thanks Again

Thanks Dedward. I was going to say I've never had that easy of a time changing a watch battery. Your photos definitely apply more to the watches that most of us are buying. I too have stabbed myself multiple times with the butterfly knife that I use Ha Ha LOL!!

I just changed the battery in my Croton Coin watch this morning using the old case back tool.
