How the hell long does it take before a man needs a new wallet ?...Whenever I ask, 'Wouldn't you like a lovely new wallet, baby...I get a comment something to the effect of, "Thanks but, no thanks, this one is just getting broke in"...As far as I can tell, those things last YEARS, they appear to be virtually indestructible.

I have had my current wallet for at least 4 years and there is NO sign of it going anywhere!

My wallet would need to fall apart before I replace it. Once they are broken in they have a certain fit and feel to them. I like that and resist change. Here's a suggestion. Put the money into a new watch. LOL

years. same wallet now for the last 6.

I don't use a wallet, I carry a money clip and a credit card holder. My credit card holders last at least 5 years before the need for a new one. :)

I have actually had my current wallet since 1996.

i have about 30 wallets - most of them bought by myself as i am very particular about it

i rotate use like 1-3 months at a time

i also have wallets received as gifts that just sit in a draw -dont like them

a good quality wallet can last as much as 10 yrs or more depending on use & abuse

Oh, James, so many things factor into that...I don't have to actually NEED one to buy one...I prolly have 40 handbags & that's a conservative guess...I can't carry an everyday bag while wearing a gown & I wouldn't carry an itty bitty clutch while wearing jeans...That's not even the half of it but, I'm almost sure that it's more than you ever wanted to know...Suffice to say, almost every outfit deserves its own handbag...None of them ever have a chance to get worn out.

I just replaced my wallet of 6 years. just because

Good Tri-folds are very hard to find. When you find the one that will serve me well, I buy it. I use a money clip for cash and give away my change. A good wallet will last at least five years. A good wallet is like a good watch.

Going on 4 years on mine. Its a Coach so I think they replace them when they wear out, but this thing is still like new, except for the curve that has developed in it. I wonder what THAT could be from! :whatever:
