Ganson:
So they are adept at skillful engraving?
Matters little IMO. Not my kind of time
keeping. No Pallet fork. No Main Spring. No
Balance wheel. Recharge battery daily?
I can wind my Vostok a lot cheeper. Pox
on money bags Billy Gates.

Looks like Apple and Magrette got together for lunch one day. Nice.
That was my immediately thought as well.

Usually not a big fan of modified Rolex's (mostly because I can't afford a stock one, let alone to have one modified!), but they have a few pics of an engraved Explorer on their site that I am now in love with:

It looks like a Holland & Holland shotgun. Very well executed.

Hand engraved Apple Watch
Now that's adding some class to a 'not-so-classy-watch' IMHO. Thanks for posting.

While it looks cool..............I can understand some kind of desireable vintage firearm or knife, flask, shoe horn, mechanical watch, something that never becomes obsolete, but a first gen smart watch....Hmmmm.

In a few months expect Apple watch S.

I'm totally in love with that!! I have a Smith & Wesson half hilt fighter that I'd love to have engraved like that. Wish I had a classy watch to do that to.

Wait some 20 years then tell us what you think. If the engraver is well known and respected then you can expect that watch to increase in value.

Someone was telling me that the first gen apple computers are fetching some crazy prices. I have not confirmed but I do know that is true for some of the vintage video games and they were not engraved.

I've met 3 individuals who own Apple watches
2 of the 3 are surgeons. The other a businessman.
They have no complaints with their watches(Did I
just call a computer App a watch?) Gag me with a
spoon!
I'm still trapped in the technologically impaired
category.

Way cool, but wouldn't wear it.
The intricate designs are so cool & must take a skilled & steady hand.
I love the Rolex 1 as well , even more the Panerai's

Agreed on all points previously stated. Pallet Spoon's Magrette inspired me to look around for engraved watches and I think that'll be my next purchase.
